I am a 4th-year student at McMaster University majoring in Human Behaviour with a minor in community engagement. I have a specific interest in client-centred therapy and counselling work being readily available to the general public. I believe that our experiences impact our
lives in ways we do not necessarily see, and I want to learn how to work with individuals to help them reach their fullest potential by providing resources that can be available for anyone.

Growing up in Canada as a South Asian woman came with its challenges, but I have found ways to help solidify my identity. I am also a huge advocate for mental health and mental health awareness in society. This issue plays a big part in all aspects of our life, and I hope to help
educate individuals about this growing field.

I love to read, write poetry, binge-watch shows on Netflix, and cook during my free time. But the one thing I love the most is surrounding myself with positive energy from my family and friends.
