Ida Zarrabi

Registered Psychotherapist

Hello, I am Ida- I’m so glad you’re here! I am genuinely passionate about the field of psychotherapy and I hope that I can support you on your personal growth journey. I sincerely believe that we can all use somebody to talk to sometimes- especially since peaks and valleys are inevitable in our lives.

As a therapist, I utilize a compassionate and client-centred holistic approach to health. I always strive to foster a supportive and empowering environment to help people establish and achieve their short-term and long-term goals.

I also strongly believe in meeting the individual where they are by providing an inclusive, safe and culturally competent space that encourages self-exploration. I have many years of experience working in different community and hospital settings with a wide range of demographics and diagnoses employing various evidence-based modalities.

I’m a University of Toronto alumni- I graduated UofT with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Physiology. I also hold a graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health as well as a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.

I am a first-generation Canadian-born who is also an active advocate in the Iranian community. I speak Farsi fluently and I have found that remaining connected to my roots has given me a deeper understanding of both the East and the West which I hope to integrate with integrity throughout our time in therapy together!
